You look at hundreds of L119A1s with their sexy Knight Armament RAS handguards, picking various accessories through different timeperiods. And then it hits you like a firetruck, you finally notice that ugly duckling who isn’t KAC. The one off that flew under the radar for years.

The L118A1 is like a fluorescent condom. Everybody knows what it is, what it should look like and who owns one. But there are so few images of it in use that it just captures your imagination. As for me, I couldn’t pass the opportunity to both build another Accuracy International rifle clone and make this weird comparison !

ITW – 202x : ARILLS everywhere
The Royal Marines Commandos weren’t the first ones to get to use the Assault Rifle In-Line Low Light Sight. The SAS and SFSG also have been tinkering with the new device for some years now.
Project – L2A1 : SACTARASS 12″
The 12″ HK417 has to be one of those few rifles that screams at you : UKSF ! As such there’s an insidious little thing that keeps me attracted to the short L2A1, dubbed the Assaulter. A real super heavy hitting assault rifle sized of a beast.
Project – L115A3 : the 2020 rifle
Building an airsoft L115A3 is no easy fit given the time consuming constant search for parts and ensuring the different adjustments needed to fit. While still not finished, I’m more than happy to share my own iteration of the iconic sniper rifle.
